“Thank you so much for your grief training you did for Big Brothers Big Sisters Staff. You provided not only great information, but gave each of us a unique perspective. You are doing incredible work that is so important."

The BBBS Staff, Stevens Point, WI

Speaking Engagements

We have an excellent team of therapists, social workers, psychologists, counselors, and many others with their own grief experiences who talk and teach at conferences, in university classes, and at meetings on behalf of Camp HOPE.

Sometimes a “one and done” learning opportunity is all you need.  Whether you just want to learn about Camp HOPE as a resource or if you want to learn how to support a certain population (students, clients, families, etc),

we can make that happen.

Continuing Education

No one wakes up in the morning thinking, “I really want to talk about death, dying, and grief.” Yet, we know how incredibly important it is for us to know how to help our friends, students, clients, etc., going through the grieving process.  We’re here to make sure we can provide you with the learning you need to feel comfortable and confident providing support.

Would you like to give your colleagues an opportunity for professional development over the span of a month, a semester, or a year?  Do you need this course taught in person? Would it be better for your workplace if it were condensed? Do you need it tailored to your community?

We've got you covered.

“I worked in a school as a social worker for 10 years and I will never forget the moment when a 4th grade girl hopped off the bus in the morning looking tired and worn down.  I asked her if she was feeling okay and she immediately fell into my arms, ‘my dad died last night.

I scooped her up and swiftly found an empty room where I held her as she cried. This little girl was not the first and won’t be the last student to come to school after the loss of a loved one. Personally, I’ve seen time and time again teachers not being given the education they need to know how to support. They feel like they are floundering when all they want to do is help.”
