Family Traditions

Traditions can be continued or new ones can be started.

A family is still a family, no matter what happens.

Family FUN Night

(games, movies, etc)

Pick at least one day a month to

spend time with a family member

(ie: Day with Dad, Mom, Grandma, Sibling, etc).

Sit down at the

dinner table and

communicate:

talk about what

happened that day.

Once a week-

Picnic at the park, take a walk, watch television together, pick a place you’ve never been to and check it out!

Spend the night with a nearby relative like Grandma/Grandpa or Aunt/Uncle or neighbor. The  parents get a night to themselves while the kids get to have bonding time with a favorite person.

Bake Cookies

Try sugar cookies!  Then have a contest to see who can be the most creative with the frosting and

decorations.

Sit down and create a scrapbook or photo album.  There will be tears and laughter looking back at memories.
